August Mid-Month Check In

Spinning:

• Flat Iron: I'm doing some "default spinning" for a fractal 2-ply out of a dyed braid of Falkland.  The singles sat for about a week or so after I finished them, but now I'm going on the plying.
• Kiwi: I have some dyed BFL that I'm spinning (again, kind of a "default spin").  I'm just sitting down and spinning a few minutes here and there.  I will use the resulting yarn for a pair of gloves, and I have a little time before it gets cold, so I'm taking my time with it for now.

Knitting:

• Finished the (No Need to) Panic Sweater 
• I've been working steadily on the Pure Fuzz sweater, about 6 more inches to go on the body (including ribbing) and that will be off the needles
• I cast on the Tettegouche mittens by Virginia Sattler-Reimer and am almost done with the thumb gusset on the first mitten.  I haven't worked on them at all this past week though.
